New Orleans, LA – Several Injured in Three-Car Crash on I-10 near Louisa Ave
New Orleans, LA (May 3, 2021) – An auto accident in the New Orleans area left several people injured early Sunday morning. On May 2, the Louisiana State Police responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 10.
According to reports from the Louisiana State Police Troop B, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 10, occupied by an impaired driver, when it crashed into two other vehicles near Louisa Avenue.
The impact of the crash left all three vehicles, one of which was a state police cruiser, damaged.
Several people involved in the accident were injured. All victims were rendered aid for their injuries before an unknown number of parties were transported to area hospitals for further care. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for reckless operations and driving while intoxicated. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
