Assumption Parish, LA – Kole M. Bahry Killed in Crash near Riverbend St & LA-1016-2
Assumption Parish, LA (April 3, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Assumption Parish area claimed one person’s life while leaving a second person injured. Just before 2:30 a.m., on April 2, emergency crews were notified that a collision occurred on Louisiana Highway 1016-2.
Reports from authorities show that a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling on Louisiana Highway 1016-2 when it went off the roadway near Riverbend Street. The vehicle then re-entered the street before flipping over and crashing into a utility pole.
21-year-old Kole M. Bahry was killed instantly in the accident. Authorities declared the man deceased at the scene.
Another person in the vehicle, identified as a 24-year-old from Indiana, was rushed to a hospital in the Baton Rouge area. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
