Lafayette, LA (September 17, 2021) – Victims were left with injuries following a car accident in Lafayette on Friday, September 17th.
Local sources reported that, at about 8:35 a.m., the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 between Church Point and Duson. The crash was serious enough to cause a three-mile-long traffic jam.
First response teams and local law enforcement officers both responded to the area. At least one injured victim was transported from the scene.
