Geismar, LA – Multiple Injuries in Three-Car Crash on LA-74
Geismar, LA (August 07, 2021) – A collision involving three vehicles closed down a highway in Ascension Parish on Friday, August 6th.
The Geismar Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene at about 9:30 p.m. on State Highway 74. The highway was shut down between Chester Diez Road and L. Landry Road to allow for investigation and for crews to clear debris from the roadway.
A source within the department said the people involved all sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Everyone is expected to recover.
This accident is currently under investigation by Louisiana State Police.
