Kenner, LA – 9-Year-Old Critically Injured in Accident Involving Tractor-Trailer on Airline Hwy
Kenner, LA (July 27, 2021) – A 9-year-old boy sustained critical injuries during a car accident that took place on the morning of Tuesday, July 27th on Airline Highway in Jefferson Parish.
According to a report filed by local police, the boy and a driver were both badly injured when their vehicle was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer at about 10:45 a.m. The circumstances leading up to the accident were not made immediately available.
The 9-year-old and the adult driver were transported by paramedics to an area trauma center. The extent of the driver’s injuries is not known at this time.
The cause of this accident is under investigation.
