Morgan City, LA – Two People Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on US-90 near Martin Luther King Dr Exit
Morgan City, LA (March 22, 2021) – A motor vehicle collision reported early Sunday morning claimed the lives of two people while leaving others injured. At approximately 12:42 a.m., on March 21, the police, firefighters, and EMS responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on US Highway 90.
Reports from authorities show t6hat three vehicles were involved in a collision on US Highway 90 just after midnight near the exit for Martin Luther King Drive. Two drivers involved in the accident were fatally injured. Both victims were declared deceased at the scene.
Several other people involved in the accident were injured. All injured parties, identified only as passengers of the three vehicles and the driver of the third vehicle, were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
