New Orleans, LA – NOPD Investigates Injury Car Wreck on N Causeway Blvd

New Orleans, LA (September 15, 2021) – Officers from the New Orleans Police Department were dispatched to the scene of an accident with injuries that occurred Tuesday evening, September 14.

The accident reportedly happened on North Causeway Boulevard from Metairie to Mandeville, close to mile marker 8.5. Emergency medical personnel also responded to the scene to provide the injured parties with any necessary medical treatment or emergency transportation. It appears that at least one victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance, though their current condition is unknown.

No additional information is available at this time, and the accident is still under investigation by the NOPD. The victims involved in the wreck have not yet been identified.
