Shreveport, LA – Accident with Injuries Reported on I-20 near MM 58
Shreveport, LA (June 7, 2021) – The police, firefighters, and medical personnel in the Shreveport area responded to the scene of a traffic-related incident that ended in injuries. At around 5:30 p.m., on June 5, the Shreveport Police were notified that an accident took place on Interstate 20.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between vehicles took place on the eastbound side of Interstate 20. The incident blocked the right lane of the interstate near mile marker 58.
The crash resulted in injuries. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care. Congestion expanded nearly four miles from the scene of the accident as crews worked to clear the roadway. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
