St. Martin Parish, LA – Injury Crash Involving Garbage Truck on US-90
St, Martin Parish, LA (July 16, 2021) – Louisiana State Troopers responded to the scene of an accident that left a garbage truck overturned in the eastbound lane of US 90 near the parish line between St. Martin Parish and Iberia Parish on the afternoon of Friday, July 16th.
Local emergency response crews also reported to the scene at about 3:55 p.m.
The number of injured victims and the extent of their injuries has not been made available.
The area was closed down while crash investigators determined the cause of the crash and paramedics worked to medically assess and treat those involved and administer the appropriate medical care.
