Nadia Matamoros

With over eight years of experience in the legal field, I am a Legal Assistant at Smiley Injury Law, where I support our attorneys and clients through the many moving parts of the personal injury process. I am committed to creating an organized, seamless experience so clients can focus on their recovery with confidence, knowing their case is being handled with care and attention.

Although I earned my degree in Finance, I quickly recognized that my strengths in organization, communication, and problem-solving naturally aligned with the demands of legal work. Since 2017, I have supported law firms in fast-paced environments that require precision, responsiveness, and empathy. I also hold certificates in Legal Processes with concentrations in pre-litigation and workers’ compensation, allowing me to anticipate needs, stay ahead of deadlines, and help keep cases progressing efficiently.

As a bilingual professional, I am especially passionate about supporting Spanish-speaking clients and ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout the legal process. Clear communication builds trust, and I strive to make every client feel heard and supported during what is often a challenging time in their lives.

What I enjoy most about my role is knowing that the work we do truly makes a difference. Personal injury cases are about people whose lives have been unexpectedly disrupted, and being someone my team and our clients can rely on is a responsibility I take seriously.
Outside of work, I’m a proud wife, mom of two and I like to stay active whenever I can. Whether I am playing soccer or running local 5Ks, I thrive on the energy that comes with movement and competition. And during football season, you can always find me cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
