Ascension Parish, LA – Everett Scott Killed in Crash on LA-22 near LA-44

Ascension Parish, LA (June 14, 2021) – Authorities were called to the scene of a traffic-related incident on Wednesday that claimed one person’s life. At around 9 p.m., on June 9, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Louisiana State Highway 22.

Reports from the Louisiana State Police show that 19-year-old Everett Scott was riding east on Louisiana State Highway 22 on a Honda CFR 250 dirt bike when his vehicle collided with a westbound Honda Accord. The impact of the crash sent the dirt bike off the road and into a grassy roadway.

Scott suffered severe injuries in the accident and was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to is injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
