Caldwell Parish, LA – Motorcyclist Reba Stamper Killed in Crash on Highway 165 off Ray St
Caldwell Parish, LA (May 24, 2021) – A motorcycle accident reported in the Caldwell Parish area claimed the life of 63-year-old Reba Stamper from Grayson, Louisiana on Saturday afternoon.
Just after 2 p.m., on May 22, the police, firefighters, and emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 165 involving a motorcycle.
According to reports, 45-year-old Stefani Cutrera was driving west on ray Street in a sedan. As Cutrera entered the intersection onto Highway 165, her vehicle collided with a motorcycle, which was occupied by 65-year-old Otis Peavy Jr and his passenger Reba Stamper.
The impact of the crash caused the motorcycle to overturn, ejecting Stamper and Peavy. Both victims sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced Stamper deceased from her injuries. Peavy was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Cutrera suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
