Denham Springs, LA – Two Airlifted Following Two-Car Accident at Florida Blvd and Walnut St
Denham Springs, LA (June 18, 2021) – On Monday, June 14th, a two-car accident left two people with serious injuries in Livingston Parish.
The crash occurred at about 12:00 p.m. near the intersection of Walnut Street and Florida Boulevard near Denham Springs.
According to the Denham Springs Police Department, a vehicle traveling westbound along Florida Boulevard swerved across the centerline and into oncoming traffic where it T-boned a car stopped at a stop sign on Walnut Street.
The force of the impact caused both cars to overturn.
Both drivers were med-flighted to a nearby trauma center for emergency medical treatment of serious injuries.
No citations have been issued but this accident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
