Injury Accidents in New Orleans
After almost any car crash, victims will be left with serious injuries. Common injuries caused by car accidents include fractured and broken bones, injury to vital organs, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal column damage. These and many other disastrous crash-related injuries could force victims to undergo long and expensive hospitalizations, medical treatments, and even long-term care.
After being the victim of a motor vehicle crash in the state of Louisiana, due to the fault of a negligent party, it is immeasurably important that you solicit solid legal advice from an experienced car accident attorney in New Orleans right away. It is extremely distressing to learn that the highest percentage of car accidents take place within a few miles of home. Drivers who are just stepping out to go to the corner market, the grocery store, take their dog to a local park, or go to visit a friend or relative for the afternoon are not in any less danger than someone planning to drive across the state or across the country.
It is important that you never become complacent or let your guard down just because you are driving on a familiar roadway you have been on many times before, running a familiar errand to the gas station or the post office. Reduced awareness increases the likelihood of a car accident taking place, even when your destination is just around the corner.
