Rapides Parish, LA – Maximillian Hermann Reppel Jr. Killed in Crash on I-49
Rapides Parish, LA (June 27, 2021) – A man died on Friday, June 25 during a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 49 in Rapides Parish.
The victim, who has since been identified as 75-year-old Maximillian Hermann Reppel Jr., a resident of Violet, was heading southbound along the interstate on I-49 when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, he collided with another vehicle on the side of the road.
Reppel sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
