Shreveport, LA – Kenneth Boyter Dies in Hit-and-Run Accident on Inner Loop Expressway
Shreveport, LA (August 20, 2021) – The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has released the name of the victim who was fatally injured during a hit-and-run accident on Saturday, August 14th.
The deceased has been identified as 59-year-old Kenneth Boyter, a resident of Minden.
The accident took place on the Inner Loop Expressway in the area of West 70th Street. Police were dispatched to the scene for reports of two people being ejected from a pick-up truck after a rollover crash. Witnesses told officers that another vehicle had been involved in the collision.
Upon their arrival, paramedics transported both victims to Ochsner Louisiana State University Health with life-threatening injuries.
Boyter died at the hospital and the woman remains in serious condition.
The injured victim’s identity has not been released.
This accident is under investigation.
