Webster Parish, LA – Joshua Montgomery Loses Life in Car Crash on Dorcheat Rd near Allen Dr
Webster Parish, LA (July 19, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Webster Parish claimed one man’s life on Sunday afternoon. At approximately 2 p.m., on July 19, emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident on Dorcheat Road.
Reports from local law enforcement show that 24-year-old Darien Moore was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 south on Dorcheat Road when the vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into a utility pole and a tree just south of Allen Drive.
A passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old Joshua Montgomery, of Plain Dealing, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Moore was transported to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are underway with the Louisiana State Police.
