Webster Parish, LA – Seth Poole Killed by Suspected DUI on Front St
Webster Parish, LA (September 01, 2021) – At about 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31st, Louisiana State Police opened an investigation into a fatal single-vehicle crash on Front Street near Thomasville Road.
This deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Seth Poole, a resident of Sarepta. The driver of Poole’s vehicle is suspected of being impaired.
An investigation showed that 26-year-old Michael Allen Jr., a resident of Springhill, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche northbound on Front Street close to Thomasville Road. For reasons that have yet to be determined, Allen Jr. lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle overturned.
Allen Jr. was restrained and received only minor injuries. Poole was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Routine toxicology samples were collected and will be turned in for analysis.
This accident is under investigation.
