Baton Rouge, LA – Crash with Injuries Reported at Bob Pettit Blvd & Nicholson Dr
Baton Rouge, LA (July 18, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Wednesday morning in the Baton Rouge area sent an undisclosed number of people to area hospitals with injuries. Just before 9 a.m., on July 14, the police, firefighters, and emergency medical services were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash on Nicholson Drive.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between vehicles blocked Nicholson Drive at the intersection of Bob Pettit Boulevard. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
At least one person was transported to a local hospital where they underwent medical treatment for injuries sustained in the crash. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are underway.
